A week ago the two of us were guests at a super wedding ceremony and party. The this couple had their ball at the grooms folks house in the country. They had the marriage in the small chapel simply down the road from their home. Both the formal procedure and the bride were exquisite. We all got to ride in in carriages pulled by horses to get to the party from the house of worship. They decorated the full reception in country southern style. On every table was a checked tablecovers of white and red with a home-produced centerpiece. They used steele watering pales and added wildflowers and then place little cowboy hats out on the tables for place card holders. They actually put a lot into designing for this wedding. They had miniature lights strung all over the place and placed round the party space were bales of hay. There was as well a dance floor with a bandstand for the wedding singer to operate on.
